Stay Connected Beyond the Trail at Sea Otter Australia 2026
Some outdoor events become more than just a stop on the calendar. They become places to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new adventure partners, and discover what happens when technology meets the outdoors.
Sea Otter has become one of those special events for us, and we're excited to continue the journey at Sea Otter Australia 2026! After meeting outdoor enthusiasts and industry partners at previous Sea Otter events, we're heading to Batemans Bay for our final Sea Otter gathering of the year.

When the Network Ends, the Adventure Continues
Have you ever been on a trail where your phone signal suddenly disappears? Or led a group through remote terrain where staying in touch becomes a real challenge? That's the problem we're working to solve with RF Explorer, our off-grid group communication GPS tracker powered by Everbliss Link LoRa Mesh technology.
Unlike conventional GPS trackers that rely on cellular networks, RF Explorer uses LoRa Mesh communication to help team members share locations, exchange messages, track routes, and send emergency alerts without relying on cellular coverage or satellite communication subscriptions.
With multi-hop relaying, each device can also help forward information through the mesh network, extending communication across a group as conditions allow.
We believe outdoor technology should be tested where it matters most: out in the field. Recently, outdoor enthusiast Alba and her fellow took RF Explorer canyoning in Taiwan, putting the device to use in a demanding environment filled with waterfalls, steep terrain, and challenging conditions for communication.
The experience gave us valuable insights into how off-grid communication can support outdoor teams in real adventures. It also sparked useful conversations about future improvements, including richer positioning information and more convenient protection for activities involving prolonged exposure to water.
For us, these experiences are about more than testing a product. They're about listening to the people who use it, learning from their adventures, and continuing to develop technology around real outdoor needs. Curious to see how RF Explorer performed during the trip? Read the full story here:

A Special Hello to Our Friends at S Lab
To our friends at S Lab, it's always a pleasure to connect with people who share our passion for the outdoors. This time at Sea Otter Australia, we'd also love to introduce you to two outdoor brands from our family: ZENONE and ZEALWOOD.
Discover ZENONE
Designed for outdoor enthusiasts who value lightweight performance and reliable gear, ZENONE offers trekking poles built to accompany hikers on trails, mountain adventures, and journeys beyond the everyday. Whether you're heading out for a weekend hike or taking on a more demanding route, ZENONE is here to support every step of the journey.
Discover ZEALWOOD
Inspired by the spirit of outdoor exploration, ZEALWOOD brings its own perspective to outdoor gear and adventure. We believe the right equipment should complement the experience of being outdoors, helping people feel prepared to explore new places and make the most of every journey.
We'd love for our friends at S Lab to take a closer look at both brands and discover what we're building for the outdoor community.
See You in Australia!
Sea Otter has brought us together with an incredible outdoor community, and we're excited to keep those connections growing.
